Parrots
RIP Constantine: Jenday Conure
Just finished watching the movie The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. Con sat with me for the whole movie and enjoyed the sounds of the flocks. It was a great bonding experience for her and I. If you haven't watched the movie yet, I REALLY suggest it. The ending made me cry :( but it is an amazing movie/documentary. Now I want to go and meet the flocks myself. Road trip anyone? :p

I sobbed like no ones business, watching this film
Nut loved it, but would try flying with the flock:p

I've read about them but did not realize there was a film about them. I'm such a crybaby though...is it going to make me very sad?

The end is a bit sad but it is a very good film to watch. I don't like watching movies but I enjoyed watching this one. I think you'd enjoy it, Roxy.

Ok, I'll check it out. I do cry though when watching sad movies or TV shows though. But, both my birds and cat do like watching things about birds. And I guess it would be better to let Pete watch that than to have him laughing over serial killers doing people in on Criminal Minds!

Is it Telegraph Hill in San Francisco? I've not heard of the documentary. I live close to Frisco and if it's about this location I'll have to check it out, although, sad movies give me bad dreams.

How funny. I also literally just got done watching it as well. This was actually the second time I've seen it. It is such a great film!

Did you both happen to rent it today? Or was it on TV? If it was on TV, which channel in case it's on again soon?

It's on netflix instant watch, or whatever it's called. It's called the wild parrots of telegraph hill. We've watched it probably 3 times in the last two months, it's great! There are some sad parts but they even it out and have some great happy parts in there too :) Definitely worth watching

It wasn't on TV as far as I know. I have Netflix and it's on there.

We watched it on Netflix not to long ago, I have been watching anything I can on Parrots and I loved it to though it made me cry :(
