Parrots
A pair of cockatiels
And pair of African Greys
I wanted to ask those of you who have talking AG at what age did they start to talk?
My AG is 7 month old or so, and she is relatively quiet bird, she only clicks with her tong a bit and shrikes a bit. Does this mean she won't talk?

Not at all. Most posts I've read about say that greys really get going at about a year old.

Thanks. I also saw some posts where people wrote that once they start talking they wont' stop. So I think I should enjoy the silence for meanwhile.

Jasper said "peek-a-boo" when he was 7 months old. It really depends on the bird. He picked up "coffee" pretty easily from me telling him I was going to make some. Lately now it's "tickle tickle" as that's what I say to him, playing to get him to let me touch under his wings. He would do a certain whistle for "birdie" but now he's doing the whistle and saying "birdie". I'm trying to get him to say "kitty" and learn each of the cats' names but no luck so far with that.

And yes, enjoy the silence while you have it! ;) Your bird will start talking sooner or later. Just keep talking to her, include her by telling her what you are doing. She will start talking when she's ready. Do you notice her sitting in her cage quietly talking gibberish? When they do that they seem to be practicing and working things out for themselves. Hang in there!
