Did anyone of you seen some online videos of Sun conures in their natural habitat? You can easily see the videos with Macaws, African Greys, Lovebirds, even gorgeous flocks of Rickeybirds (or Patagonian Conures as some call them). But I cant find any good videos on the Suns.
And I'd really like to see how they live and interact in the wild.
Could you post some links if you've seen such a video? Or they're so scarce as a species right now, they're hard to spot? I feel very bad that the once-common beautiful species might totaslly disappear in next 20-30 years..

I checked the Internet bird collection and while there seem to be photographs from the wild in Guyana, the only videos seems to be from captive populations in Singapore and Western Europe.
Thanks, didn't know that site.

The only video I've found myself:

these may well be A.maculatas and not "pure suns" as their cheeks are more pale and eyerings are darker... beautiful anyway I'd love to meet them in their natural habitat myself...

Thanks for sharing ! That was a beautiful video. I am sure it would be lovely to see them in the wild. I have seen wild Alexandrines in medium sized flocks in Pench Tiger reserve and it is quite a spectacle.

Yes! The IBC has some of the best resources for footages of wild birds.
You could perhaps get in touch with any of the International Parrot Conservation NGOs like WPT, LPF or PI or Ornithology groups from South America.
They may have it.

Very sad that some of the most common species in captivity are becoming more and more rare in the wild.
