Sun Conure and Breathing Trouble

I had been having a terrible shortness of breath for past one week. i never had this issue before so I wonder if it can be because of the dander from my one and a half year old sun conure. She has been with us for approximately an year now and this is the first time i am having this trouble. Anyone has any experiance of pet allergies with a sun conure.. i read some where that they produce a little to no dander at all.. Can an allergy test reveal if my condition is caused by the bird? Thanks in advance..

If you feel that it is serious then get yourself to the doctor. if it is allergies one way to be sure is to go and get allergy tested.

Suns don't make much dander , but I agree you should get tested just in case .

Yeah, i agree. i have allergies and asthma, but my sun never bothered me at all. It could be your bird but it could be an allergy you have developed to something else.
