From little to big - currently 6 Linnies; 2 Budgies; 1 BHP; 2 CAGs; 2 Zons; 1 GWM. Formerly in the flock: 1 LSC2 [fostered/rehomed] RIP: 1 budgie 1 WCP & 1 sweet Pan Am
So, I was looking at human food with the below ingredients, thinking of them for my parrots:

Papaya, pineapple, dark raisins, blanched peanuts, banana chips, brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, soy beans, chopped dates, coconut, cashews, walnuts (raisins, papaya, and pineapple contain sulphur dioxide)

And am having one heck of a time finding dried fruits that do NOT contain sulphur dioxide as preservatives.

Best case scenario, I'd have NO sulphur dioxide [but right now I'm wishing I had the bag from my Goldenfeast Fruits & Nuts Plus, to see if there is any sulphur dioxide listed there]

Anyone have a container of good-quality parrot food who can check whether the manufacturers use stuff preserved with sulphur dioxide?

Thanks!
