So the bossy brat wore me down (actually, he didn't even try) lol.
I bought his Christmas presents on Tuesday and they arrived Thursday. I bought him a birdy blanket, a few cozy corners and a fleece "birdy buddy" all from MSBS.
Needless to say, he got his presents today. lol. You should've seen his reaction to the birdy buddy. Normally, he's rather defensive about me putting new toys in his cage. He's fine (for the most part) when I go to clean his cage, he just insists on being by the cage door while I'm doing it as if he's "inspecting" my work.
Well, when he saw the 'birdy buddy' he went nuts. Bobbed his head up and down real fast (this means "i want, i want") and trying to grab it away from me with his beak. He kept grabbing the chains and chewing on the plastic rings and he made his trademark "purr-ing" sound when he rubbed his head on it. I think he's over the moon excited about it and it just made my day to see him so very happy.
He was even more excited than he is when I have pasta or when he gets a new bungee boing. Never seen him react that way before. I'm gonna get him two more 'birdy buddies'. One for his day cage and one for his playstand.
I'm actually in the process of making a homemade playstand for the bedroom. lol.
