Sully-2 year old cinnamon and Bella-3 year old normal
breeding pair of gcc, Scooter & BeeBee-Sully and Bella's normal son's, Rosey- Bella and Sully's cinnamon daughter, Ella & Sunny-American budgies
Some of you might know that I have been trying to get Sully and Bella to eat pellets, well bella is now eating pellets! Now if I can just get stubborn Sully to eat them.;)

Yay! I'm sure once he sees Bella enjoying her pellets he will want some too ;)

I gave them a dish of seeds and a separate dish of pellets for dinner and Bella went right for the pellets and ate a whole meal, Sully saw her eating so he tried some but only ate a few then finished with seeds. Oh well I'm sure he will be on them soon, but he is very stubborrn so you never know what he will want to do.

Just that fact that he will eat a couple is a good sign! Have you ever tried soaking them in some 100% fruit juice? I don't do it often but every now and then I will soak some for our birds and they go nuts! And why wouldn't they, pre-dunked, extra fruity pellets, what's not to love? ;)

I was going to do that but I ran out of apple juice but I am going to the store tomorrow so i will pick some up, sugar free apple juice that is.

Sounds fantastic...

I never have trouble... All my birds will eat anything given to them... Maybe I should call them PIGS instead of BIRDS... :D
