Awwww Cass, thanks for sharing, love it when the recues find new homes:), feels so sorry for poor little Zorro though.....

Cass I volunteer for a rescue org. and it is so rewarding to see them placed in a good home. There are so many in need of homes we could stop breeding for a while so people could take in the needy ones. Appreciate what you do more than these words can say. Thanks much!!

I love taking in abandond birds and findind them good homes. And I agree that they should stop breeding some breeds of dogs too, because there are far too many. Im starting up rescueing birds again this winter :)

I have been searching for a Green Cheek to adopt, and I hope soon I can find one. Those are great pictures, and it is great to know all those beautiful birds are in good homes! :)

you are great person for taking in those birds! you know, if you hadn't taken them in, where would they be? released into the wild to fend for themselves? its scary to think about...

If it wasn't for the fact your in Canada I'd say next time you come across another CAG keep me in mind, I think that will be my next and last Fid....

I would thank you from the bottom of my heart but for your deeds my heart has no bottom. THANK YOU for making their lives worthwhile.

I have respect for people who do not go where the path leads but go instead where there is no path and leaves a trail.

Wow! Look at all of them! I wish my lifestyle was conducive to fostering or working with a rescue. Maybe in a few years.

From time to time I feel a little guilty about getting Jade from a breeder instead of going to a rescue, but...I think we've "repaired" our karma by our other birds and Popcorn.

I sleep better knowing these birds are being looked after and going to good homes.
SB and Cass, keep up the great work.

I speak on behalf our feathered friends who can't speak for themselves

Thank you Antoinette!! It's amazing what kind of stories these parrots come with! Like freddie the CAG for example, he had more than 7 different homes before we placed him! He wasn't even a year old yet :( or Tumbles the little parrotlet, when we went to go pick her up- the lady chased him around the house trying to get they bird, she eventually tried picking Tumbles up from her tail- I swear I almost tackled her to the ground. But Instead I very camly snatched the bird from her hands. :)

I can't wait to restart the rescue in the winter!!!!! Thank you again Antoinette!! :D
