- Parrots
- Gandalf - CAG (1997-2010) R.I.P. my baby boy.
Bitty - CAG (2 yrs old? and working on spoiling her rotten)
Wow...Bitty is clammed up like a mafioso in police custody.
Other than the defensive shrieking on the floor and the two "boops" while cuddle-scratching on Sunday, she hasn't made a sound. This is a total new experience to me, as Gandalf was a complete blabbermouth from the get-go. Even when he pouted after a disagreement, he'd usually start chiming in within a half hour or so.
She's climbing all over her cage, playing with toys, begging for food (grapes, banana, cornbread LOL)...but no sound. I checked the mute button on my remote, but it didn't have a "parrot" button.
Anyone else ever have a new fid give them the silent treatment? For how long? (Pssssstttt, if you hadn't guessed, it's killing me with anticipation!)
