Sticky situation

My Green Cheek was resting dinner with me. We had Chinese and Apple juice... I know great combo right?

Conlan took it upon herself to climb onto my cup, take a few drinks, then decide it's cold enough to take a bath....

She got all sticky and I had to give her a real bath. She hated every second of being forced still in my hands as I rinsed her in the sink.

On the plus side though, she still smells like apples!!

Yeah they get sticky sometimes and a real bath or shower is called for. Salty sometimes wears his lunchtime fruit portion all over his head feathers. You go to scratch him and ..WHA? Ughhh! Like some little kid with gum stuck in his hair. A major soaking maybe even 2 soakings are called for. I have to do this tonite, no time last nite, but he had dried banana all over his chin.

My little guy did dunked his head in my pineapple mango juice after enjoying a few sips but there is no way he will let me dunk him/bathe him so he's got to dunk his own little head in his water dish when he thinks he should!
