I have a now 7 mo old B&G named Sam, I have had her for aprox 2 mo. Everything is going great except sometimes when I have her on her play stand she will fly to her cage and go on top. They are aprox 25' apart. I was told to have no other reaction besides returning her to her stand and saying no. After 3 times I was told to put her in her cage. The only problem is I think she likes this game so I decided to leave her on the cage. I think she then realized she would rather be back over at the play stand, she has not tried to fly back. What should I do?:blue1:

I would say that by putting her in the cage after the 3rd time you are actually rewarding her with what she wants

Kinda like giving into a childs begging
say no the 1st few times and yes the 3rd it tells them if they beg long enough they get what they want

Has she got food and toys on her playstand?

Try some bird safe branchs with the leaves still attached
tie them to the playstand
keep her interest in that area

Try doing some training on it with her
so she looks forward to being there
do 1 or 2 tricks at random times at different times thru the day to keep her guessing and waiting for the next one

This is all I can think of for now hopefully other members will chip in with suggestions
