So my female pineapple conure has developed a habbit of squawking non-stop at night when I put her in her cage. She spends majority of the evening with me, but at night, she goes into her cage and gets covered up. As long as I am in the same room with her, she is quiet. But she can tell when I leave the room and starts squawking non-stop. I try uncovering the cage, and its the same thing. She only does this at night. She is fine all day long. Its not an attention issue because this little girl is spoiled with my attention. How do I get this habbit to stop?

River always lets out a few sad sounding chirps/squawks when I turn out the lights for bed at night. I think he just doesn't want to be left, and is calling for me to come back!

I wouldnt have a problem if they were semi-quite noises... but this is full on screetching. Didn't start till about a month ago. We've had her for about 6 months or so. She has bonded well with me. The wife she is ok with but when she gets bored she tends to bite the wife. (not me tho)
My green cheek does this when I turn out the lights. She freaks out and won't sleep if we cover her. I did that a few times and she was climbing around for two hours afterward. When I turn out the lights, I stand there for a second then leave. She'll call for a few minutes and then I just say her name a few times and eventually she gets the picture and crawls into her Happy Hut quietly. If you run back into the room every time your bird screeches he'll train you that way and the problem will get worse. Try leaving the room so he can't hear you and won't know you're gone. A few minutes before you leave, stand very still and quiet and tiptoe out. If you sit in a chair or on the couch he might hear you get up and realize you're leaving. Like a baby, sometimes you have to let them cry it out.

Coming over to her to uncover the cage when she screams = reinforcement for the behavior. She will be more likely to scream if she gets any kind of attention out of it. When she learns that screaming gets her nothing, she will be less likely to scream and for shorter periods of time, but you have to be persistent in not reinforcing the behavior in any way.
Also, make sure the cage is large enough and has plenty of toys. Try giving her treats when you first put her in the cage, so that she associates cage with treat. Do not place her in the cage as form of punishment (i.e., when she bites, etc) or she will associate her cage with punishment and will be more likely to scream, too.
Also, keep in mind that conures will scream from time to time. It is their nature and this you cannot prevent (though you can reduce the frequency to a certain extent).

Does she have a sleep tent? Maxx goes to his tent around 8-8:30 each night. He climbs in, and is done for the night. I cover the cage usually at 9, and I never hear a peep until I uncover him at 8 the next morning.

I agree, I picked up one for Franklin several weeks ago...he LOVES it! Like your Maxx...when Franklin feel's it's bed time, he just climbs in and light out! And NOTHING bothers him or wakes him. Sooo funny too...some times I look at him and he's crashed out on his side, his stomach and sometimes on his back in his tent! He'll also nap in it during the day if he wants to.
Also ECHO - That was going to be my suggestion...our birds are in our bedroom and we've never had a problem with that. I think our birds really like the closeness of living in our bedroom. Sadly, there are days when we are soo busy we only get to take them out in the evening for a couple hours for play time, then put them to bed, hubby and I turn out the lights and listen to our tiels and our conure softly grind their beaks into blissful sleep.
We have 3 birds, 2 tiels and our YSGCC and they each have their own cage...all in our bedroom!
