Spring has sprung?

Generally around 1 year, even though many show sexual behavior before this. :)

However, GCCs don't have a 'set' breeding period. In captivity they can breed year round, thus they can show hormonal signs at any given time (once mature).

Tiki, who is 4 months old, has been a little odd the past few days and I didn't know how young was too young. She's been biting a LOT more lately (which I chalked up to being a baby and just trying to figure life out). She wants out of her cage, so I take her out, then she wants back in, so I put her back in and leave the door open for her. Then she wants food, but she doesn't want me to put any food in her dish. She wants to snuggle and get scratches but she bites as soon as I try to scritch her head. She's been rubbing her beak and the sides of her head and neck on my hand/fingers. Just today she was almost laying down in my palm and lifting her tail a little while rubbing her head and beak on my hand.

Again, this all could just be baby bird figuring out life, but I'm a new mom and want to make sure shes as happy and comfortable as possible. I could totally be reading too far into this or just being a hover parront.
