Long story short. A year ago he was diagnosed as allergic to milk and wheat with milk being the worst.

He loves milk and all things dairy. But since it was the worst he cut way back on consumption. His physical symptoms went away

But..........

One year later his throat looks worse and we discovered food stuck in his throat. Also since he hadnt eaten since midnight his tummy should have been empty. It wasnt.

Dr compliance is critical now because his esophahus could close and/or become cancerous. Right now hes fine. There is plenty of time to work into compliance.

Any suggestions on edible to a 14 year old substitutes. Especially sweets.

He cant eat dairy or wheat anymore. Eggs may have to go too pending lab results.

Tried and failed

Fake cheese
Fake coolwhip
All milk alternatives (for drinking/cereal)

Tried and accepted
Rice pasta

Wow, this is a tough one to manage!
Try researching this site,

Stages of Life Medical Institute

That is his pain management portal, but Dr Klein is much more than that. He is local to us.
He has a wholistic approach, when possible, to most things! Definitely not a quak or money hound!
My daughter had a severe allergy to red meat, turned out to be a nutritional solution! 3 years later and she can still pig out on steak with the best of us!

As a follow-up to my good friend from Florida's Post;

As a possible secondary issue, either driven or as a reaction to the irritation of the Throat. Check for Acid Reflux (or like) damage to the lower Throat.

Prays and soft Feather Hugs!
