Take a water bottle put a few sunflower seeds in it, don't put the lid on and give it to your parrot.
This will let him know what's inside. The next time put the lid on but not to tight. Then go ahead and tighten it down.( depending on your parrot).

Truly a great idea for a foraging toy, plus a noise based toy and a bang toy, which will keep a Macaw busy just making noise.

Going to try that will some pine nuts as our DYH Amazon has a special joy for them.
