Someone Is Turning Five!!!

Tomorrow Canelo turns 5 years old! Here are some pictures from 5 days after he was born to this year. I must say while he can be stubborn, he's such a good boy, most times but he has his weak moments, lol. For his birthday, he gets his own steak, cut up in tiny pieces since he has a history of trying to swallow entire chicken breasts, lol! I'm hoping for many more years with him. If only all animals had a long life like parrots.

Canelo 5 days old with his mom and brother, he's on the right and had a duck shaped patch so he was called Ducky.

Two weeks old. He was so little!

Seven weeks old and would just fall to sleep anywhere.

Three months old. We called this the octagon, he figured out how to flip it and walk out in minutes.

And my absolute favorite photo, the day we brought Buddy home and Canelo didn't know he was there for 20 minutes then tried to meet him, lol!

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite dogs on Parrot Forums! I know how much you'll love your steak dinner Canelo, but I hope it lasts more than 1/2 a second lol.

I love those pics!! Look at him suckling haha. Hard to believe he was so tiny at one time. The one laying on your leg, and the one where he meets Buddy are absolutely hilarious!

I like Allee's idea... I think Canelo would love a pizza party with cake and ice cream .

I have two english bulldogs as well. Rocky is 1, Rosie is 8. Good dogs, but you are right about being stubborn.

Unfortunately no pizza, cake and ice cream. Husband has his heart stuck on steak and chicken. So I'm going to make steak for the pups. I did get him a new Goliath bone, it's a cow femur, huge bone. We crack up watching Canelo walk around the house with this huge bone in his mouth. It's heavy and he can't walk straight, lol. But it keeps him busy for hours. That's his birthday gift.
