Hi,

My gcc's are on zupreem fruit blend right now,and after reading the ingredients i have been wanting to switch pellet.
My question is what is better zupreem neutral or scenic paradise mix?
I was really suprised to see the scenic here.
I want to mix the new pellet with harrison's since it it to expensive.

Also i just bought an dehydrator, are there food i should avoid?
Can i put it in raw?
I want to offer dried veggies and fruit in a bowl when i'm working.
How should i store it?
I have an vegetable garden of 280m so i have a lot.:41:
I'm buying a freezer of my own this year(living with my parents).
So with my garden i want to store as much possible organic food for them.
How many strawberry's can they have in a week?i got over a hundered plants.

Thank you for reading.:D

I have decided to go with harrisons.
But i will have to buy it in bulk and freeze it.
If i buy a 25 pound bag it wil last me roughly a year.
If my calculations are correct, else just a long time.
Will it spoil?
Also i wont be abele to keep it in the same bag sice it won't fit in the freezer.
How should i store it?

Thank you.

Air tight containers, I use zip lock bags or rubbermaid. I feed Zupreem natural, have tried all the others and they won't eat it, it's not the best but with added "human food" it makes up the difference. Make sure they eat the Harrisons before you spend the $$$

i know they eat it,my mother tried to get her gala to eat it but she refused so mine got it.
but still i will buy a 1 pound bag to test again.
My birds are complete pigs they have always eaten every pellet i give them.

I LOVE harrison's, I convinced one of my friends to buy it for her two sun conures and they also like it.

I buy it in 5 pound bags, last Rosie(fine size) around 3 months and Kenji(course, more wasteful) around a month.

You can freeze harrison's to make it last longer.

i hear good stories of it too.
so i really want to use it,even if it will leave me broke at the end of the month.
But can it last a year in the freezer?it will cost me 90 euro's less.
Here we get 21% tax over anything we buy ,so it's really expensive.
It would else cost me 30 euro a month to give them en then the other foods like seeds en veggies.
I wouldn't mind it to much since i live with my parents i can pay for it now.
But if i go and live on my own i probably wouldn't be able.
And i rather use the money i can save for their twice a year check ups.
Also i'm going to buy a vacuummachine ,not sure how it's called here.
But i can freeze it in bags with the air pulled out and Just take a week worth out.
