- My birds: Skyler/Sky, violet Indian Ringneck. Mother's birds: Norman, African Grey and Mildred, Blue Crowned Conure.
She has lots of new feathers growing in. She has two big blue primaries (one on each wing), a new secondary on each wing, and two more primaries I've just noticed growing in (one on each wing). She lost two clipped primaries yesterday too. I can see the two big primaries sticking out all the time now. She looks so pretty.
Hard to see, but this is a new primary growing in (it has a down feather stuck to it).
And sadly, some of her new feathers have bronzing on them because she keeps over preening. These two coverts are chewed with bronzing on them.
A few green feathers with no bronzing.
She was scratching herself while under a blanket. It was adorable.
