So.....quarantine ended early. I know, shame on me.

I decided to take a risk and end quarantine early. I've had a couple stressful weeks and my time was not quit as available as it usually is to spend quality time in separate areas of the house. Don't judge me. I know the risks

So, Poppy and Mangie met and it was love at first sight. Couldn't be more pleased. They are best buddies and enjoy eachothers company so much! My only issue is that Poppy is not really interested in playing with toys. And she flies very very well for having a butchered wing clip. If she sees me and she is on the stand she will immediately fly and Velcro onto me. Which then makes Mangie fly also and she is not nearly as skillful in her flying. Lol.

Anyways, wanted to share an update and a photo of my girls. ;-). Poppy is just a little doll and I'm so happy Mangie has a friend because she makes herself very well heard when it's Jasper's one on one time. Things seem quieter with Miss Poppy in the house.

Did she went to the vet to have checkup done? Should always quarantine all the way to the end to prevent any potential issues.

I know, I know (california registered vet tech for 8 years before my photography biz). Yes, she had just the general checkup Monday. Not very telling but she got a clean bill of health. But yes, it's an educated risk but a risk nonetheless. With the luck I've had this past few months I'm hopeful nothing underlying is present and my luck is better with this matter.

I hope my Blue Throated Conure gets along with my Green Cheek as well as your Sun and Crimson Bellied do when I get him/her.

They will probably both be fine even if you didn't quarantine her, but you never know, good luck though.
