So I always get sick right.. But now it's serious :(

I don't know if anyone has ever heard of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)?

I'm almost certain I have that..

It basically makes me a zombie. Everything hurts, I get nerve problems in my legs, I can't remember anything, I've been taking naps at work, getting random bruises up my legs (I'm talking like 30+ at a time), always get headaches and migraines, i dont feel like eating, always feel sick in my stomach, I have gone from a size 12 to a size 8 in two weeks..

I just feel like crap.

They are testing me for Glandular Fever, Leukaemia, vitamin deficiencies, and a few other things..
There is no actual test for CFS so the only way I can be diagnosed is if they test for everything else and don't find anything, and I have alot of the symptoms of CFS.
I get my results back tomorrow at 5 and I will let you all know ASAP how I go!

Just thought I would let you guys know why I might not be on alot latley. I either don't sleep at all, or I sleep all day even at work..

Oh Brodie I am so sorry that you feel so miserable. That is awful. Let us know how you make out. We all care. CFS is quite common and yet not a lot is known but there are treatments that can help and there are online support groups. I will be saying a prayer for you.:(:)

Oh no, Brodie. :( HUGS!!!! I'm so sorry you've been feeling so ill. :(

I won't lie, I've never heard of CFS, is there a treatment for it?

Please keep us updated, and PLEASE get well. :) Thinking of you!!!

I use to have a friend that had CFS, she would be down and out for days at a time, sometimes a week, and she a lot of birds, almost 50.
I don't know how she did it

I sure hope you feel better soon!! :)

Wishing the best for you, hoping the tests will point to a definative treatment. I have A friend with CFS, Very healthy eating and lowering of stress helps some.

So sorry to hear you are going through this. Is there a treatment for CFS? Keep us posted. Sending hugs your way!

Oh Brodie I am so sorry you are suffering so much and being in constant pain.

A friend of mine suffers from CFS, basically almost the same symptoms that you have described. Her physical activities have been cut down dramatically, she too has to rest more often. She is on doxepin, which helps her to sleep and relieves some of the pain. She cut out coffee altogether which she says helps her to sleep as well, and follow a very strict healthy eating plan.
Hope you feel better soon, remember to relax relax relax

I'm so sorry to hear that Brodie :( My parents have a long time friend with Chronic Fatigue Syndrom. Sometimes in the morning he just can't physically get out of bed, he wants to but he can't. It's terrible. He went to my mom's 50th birthday though, it was a very good day for him and I didn't even know until my parents told me later.

Really sorry :( . I would hate to feel like that, can they give you any medications to ease the symptoms ? I never heard of a Chronic Fatiuge Syndrome , is it curable ? I am sure the fids are taking good care of you ! Will wait for the update.

I hope they find whatever is making you ill....last time I was ill for a long time they could not find out why as they kept running test one after another. I was in a good hospital even, vanderbilt which is very well known....but I got better eventually so I hope it turns out well for you! Best wishes!

I'm so sorry you are sick, I have struggled with long term illness for 7 years, and only recenty found out that my biggest problem was environmental. I has sever fibromyalgia, along with reoccurring viral meningitis, I was on so many meds, then I saw a holistic chiropractor who suggested an elimination diet, It turns out I am severely reactive to dairy. It also prompted a huge change in the rest of my diet, I have decided to become vegetarian as well as being dairy free. As of now, I am off all my meds for the first time in my adult life and I feel great. I just needed the right info at the right time to make the decision to do something that seemed drastic at the time, Good luck, I know the fear, struggle, and pain and wish you the best.

Thanks Wendy <3 just happy I got the family and friends around to support me and what not :)
I felt good today, I was mucking around at work and didnt even need a nap, but then me, Luke and a friend went out for a bit and I was completely wrecked. I slept most of the car ride. Lol.
I'm real tired now.. I think I should probably get some sleep.. It's now 1:20 am lol..

Sorry to hear that you are suffering, I too suffer from the same disease along with fibromyalgia. I was in remission for a while, but then got sick 4 times within weeks of each other, the last being bronchitis and lasting the longest. Now I am out of remission and in pain. Try and stay away from processed foods, and anything thing creates an acidic atmosphere in your body. Flush by taking in plenty of water and if you can, juice your vegetables. Getting off gluten helped with my headaches and migraines. Try and move. Do whatever you can to move your body, even though it hurts and your tired. I am really sorry.
