American Bulldog Mix,
So.... I'm a horrible embarrassing pet owner as I have always dressed up my pets- chihuahuas, bulldogs, ferret, pits, you name it.No matter how tiny, funny, or toughor big they were they got the costume for Halloween, and the dogs got it again for Christmas. Then I was at Petco the other day and was passing by Halloween stuff and well, I couldn't help but to conclude that ERin would very nicely fit her wings through the XS Halloween dog dress leg holes and it would be a perfect length to cover her to her butt. And there is a pet parade with costume contest, so.... is this too horrible to consider? On one hand I will have fun dressing her up, but on the other she may not like it, but since she may not like it she may discover that it is an excellent chew toy to rip up while wearing, which will please her. So in a twisted way she might not mind... Lol I know they have parrot hoodies and shirts, diapers, and flight suits, etc, (Which I've never used any of those), but has any one dressed their bird up for Halloween, or even thought about it? Pictures if you have, please :D

I cant say that its something I have ever done, but I am really looking forward to seeing all of your pics with your Pets in costume:)

Halloween is not such a big thing here in the UK... I was in the USA a couple of Years ago during Halloween and we had the best time ever:) My daughter loved it!

I only have a few of my dogs, which I will put up later :) There's not too much that goes on around where I live with holidays- they're usually reserved for wine and beer tasting, which is why I'm def. taking her to the pet parade. Not many things come along to do around here that isn't boring (wine tasting, 5ks, sewing, history of buildings, etc), esp. something I can do with her :p

I have done that..:p In my dreams this is what happened every Christmas..
And then I use Photoshop to fix it. :D

(We don't celebrate Halloween as you do in Sweden.)

lololol very stunning looking

As soon as i saw this thread i clicked! I was just looking at the 'avian fashions' yesterday. Gilbert is so compliant and young that i think he would tolerate a costume. I thought about getting something. My chihuahuas dress for halloween, so do i, and it's fun for handing out candy to the kids.
Actually the Santa suit at Christmas is more my family tradition though, which my Grandmother started with her poodle and i continued with my chihuahuas. If i could get Gilbert in that too, oh man, what a Christmas card i would have this year. ;)

Thier not high priced either, esp. since theyre the only avian costume designers I've found so far.

Oh please try and take lots of pictures. Are you going to dress him up as a pirate:D I really needed this today It made me laugh envisioning this and last weekend they had a pirate festival here. I did't go but there have been pics in the paper. You could also dress him up as a canopener{the beak}.:D

lol a can opener. Very creative though lol. I want to get us dressed up both as pirates, so we can enter the team contest and the pet contest. ANd being that everyone wil be bring dogs most likely, we should have a good chance at winning for being unique- that's if she tolerates the costume and doesn't eat it first lol
