So earlier I was reading on the couch earlier, headphones in and caught up in what I was doing. Little did I know what was lurking....
I looked up and...BLUE FRONT! AGgghhh! Little craphead had snuck up on me. Not being aggressive, just coming over to say hello and hang out. Now for those who are like WTF is note worthy about this, Kiwi flies about as well as I do, which is not at all. He doesn't just "show up" on the couch next to me, as he has no way to get on the couch from his designated areas. But! I have been building my little buddy a new play area by the window after decommissioning the old one after becoming a rickety piece of ****. In order to protect the top of the end table, I put 2 large tiles on it which make the whole top area bigger as they overhand by a couple inches so he can't chew the end table. Guess he can reach the couch from there. First thing tommorow after I clean it for the morning, I'll be moving it few inches over!
OMG- while writing this post, he's back! Preening and making little happy noises! Lol. SO cute but definitely not going to encourage him getting on the furniture without permission/close supervision. Rules exist for a reason and he has his own "bird furniture" for a reason too...Still, sooooooo cute:07:
