parkersmom-albums-charlie-picture9435-some-one-got-out-their-cage-charlie-top-parkers-cage.jpg

Charlie is sitting on top of Parkers cage :52:...She had to run the gauntlet to get here too...
She figured out how to open the water dish door
Climbed down off her cage
traveled across the living room
past/through/over the dog gate
into the kitchen
up Parkers cage
And somehow got past all 3 cats and all 4 dogs :11:
now I have to figure out how to get her back to her cage

right...I knew she was smart but didn't at all expect this...I'm just glad that the dogs and cats are use to birds and that Parker didn't mind the company lol

HAHAHAHAHA....another Houdini...and a VERY lucky one because she obviously avoided all the predators. :11:

Well parker is a very tolerate boy. My hens would NEVER put up with that,LOL.

OMG !!! [I would have been stunned] Knowing what he had to get by to get there [and that he doesn't fly :) .I think you should let them be by each other [everyone wants a friend.]

PinkBirdy I would love to have them in the same room but there just isn't enough room...they can see each other from where they are though

My husband and I both laughed when I read your post to him. Rio got out of her outside cage the other day and was found sitting on a planter stand. My husband said that he was glad I wasn't home at the time, I would have freaked. He is right. He walked outside and said to my daughter 'where's the bird?' They could hear her but couldn't see her right away and he has no idea for how long she had been out of the cage. Yep, I would have freaked. :52:

I have the watering door on Lola's cage taped up. She figured out how to squeeze through it one day when my boyfriend was over. he's terrified of her so she has to stay in her cage when he's here, she didnt like that very much. I heard him let out a scream then RUN out the door. Looked over and she was on top of her cage looking very proud.

LOL reminds me of a friend of mine who has a lot of rescues has female African grey who needs everything padlocked or she will get out and open EVERYONE'S cages.

That's part of the reason why I put pad locks on my bird cages! IF the dogs get to them when I'm not home, that would be it....They're sneaky on getting themselves out in any way possible....lol

Its a good thing my dog is a 13 year old lab and doesnt do much moving. lol It's my sisters dogs that i'd be worried about getting to her. They have killed countless birds and groundhogs that have gotten into the backyard while they were out there.
