Lucy (B&G Macaw), Phoenix (Camilla Macaw), Gizmo (Goffin Cockatoo),
Rita (Military Macaw),
Mango (Goffin Cockatoo),
Phoenix has this things that our breeder didn't exactly mention lol. From usually around 7:30 in the morning til 8:15, and 4:30pm until about 7 he is not stop talking, screaming, and making any other noise he can even though he only knows a couple words which is shocking that he even knows them from being neglected. Well he kept saying 'Hi" the other day. I turned at him said "Hi" he looks back, and goes "Blah blah blah." He has said it a couple other times since then lol. I guess the people who had him before us argued a lot lol.

Blah blah blah???

Both of mine get quite vocal in the PM, including some screaming, and when they both do it, I run for cover, lol.

Yep, Josie has a mouth on her, too. If you look at her, but don't say anything, she says, "What?" as if you are bothering her. The other morning, everyone was getting ready for school/work around 7:30 am. She started yelling for my son, Evan. Then all of the sudden, she yells, "Evan, rub my feet!" We all just stopped and didn't even know what to say to that one as no one has ever said that to her before. Evan said he loves, but not that much. LOL They come off with some good ones.

Rocky (My B&G) responds very assertivly to people argueing by screaming, telling them to SHUTUP! or KNOCK-IT-OFF!!! Once in a while followed with a M/F'r or a YOU B****!!! Although he only resorts to that towards my older sister and her daughter when they're around. I have been working with him with a bit of success to mumble & grumble like yosimite sam though. Really funny to hear him say "SASSA-FRAGGIN-RAGGA-SNAFFIN-NO-GOOD-FR-NUTHIN!!!

A friend of mine has a rescue African gray who says the most racist and sexists things! She also cusses. He is shocked by some of the things that come out of her mouth and feels bad she had to witness a fighting couple. He got the bird in Los Vegas in 110 weather, she was kept outside and was featherless. He knocked on he door to ask about the gray and the girlfriend the door and told him to take the bird, her boyfriend was over seas in the military and she hated the gray. Amazingly she now has her feathers back! And enjoys tormenting his dog and timber wolf.

LOL these are all hilarious!I love birds that cuss and talk back.I can't let Echo learn anything though since I want to take him everywhere with me and Im sure he would offend some people.:)

Don't ya wish u could have a camera on the fids 24/7 so when "a moment" happens, you catch it.....

These are great stories. I hope some more folks add to the thread. Pritti doesn't talk in the human language. I usually just ask him yes or no questions and I get silence for a 'no' and a doube croak sound for a yes -- or -- I could be totally wrong, lol.

Kenji sometimes says "Oh SH$%!" It is too funny. and he only says it when he is unhappy. The first time was when I was msiting him, and he was very unhappy and said that!

Yup, that's exactly what Niko says sometimes. The first time I heard him say it was when I dropped one of the dog's stainless bowls and it made SO much noise on the tiles. EVERYBODY cracked up laughing, which of course led Niko to repeat the same thing for the rest of the day. SO embarrassing!!!

He will also tell Ziva to "Shut Up" when she's barking too much. And boy, when he says that, he sure means it. :54:

Lucy will say "Damn it!", because I tend to be a klutz, and drop things. She will say "Ah a" because thats what we do with the dogs when they are acting up or she is doing something she isn't supposed (like now chewing on the window frame wth?) or the dogs are barking. So now when the dogs bark, Phoenix is biting or she is doing something she shouldn't she'll go "Ah a", and if the dogs don't stop barking she says it louder over, and over lol.

I ahve a Lorikeet that says some unrepeatable things :O He will be all sweet saying "give mommy kisses, I love you" and other sweet things and then all of a sudden it will turn into him calling people BAD names and cussing a ton! He didnt learn it form me he was a rescue and only a year and half old.

These stories are great. When we had the Moluccan, she would whistle and call the dogs by name. Then she would start talking to her self and then laugh.

lmao! I love stories like these...so... .. im going to post this.. if you don't like cussing.. Id.. uh.. say don't watch baby.

Even after having Sunny for two and one half years we are still surprised by new phrases that we hadn't heard before. In the evenings Sunny likes to hold forth with long winded soliloquys. These sound perfectly like someone's conversation except most of the words are unintelligible. She does throw in some things we understand and the other night it was "where you been?, been to town," and then "you're sucha fraud". The closest we have heard to bad language was when she got into a loud argument with her daddy over eating the string on his sweatshirt hood. He accused her of being sneaky and standing up tall she announced "lotta bull n pile a crap!".
