Slight weight gain in flighted bird??

So Pixel has gone from panting after flying a short distance to flying laps around the house at break neck speed for fun.

But she seems to have gained weight? I unfortunately lost my scale for her when I moved a couple months ago (need to buy a new one - note to self!). But just feeling her keel bone, and it's not as easily felt as it used to be; not that she was underweight, nor is it 'recessed' now... But, there's definitely more muscle/fat on either side of her keel.

Is she just getting buff? LOL. Has anyone else noticed this in their flighted birds?

Yep, my amazon gained about 10 grams after he started flying. All muscle

Good to know . I figured as much... I'm just a worry wart sometimes, especially when it comes to my Pixel. Urg. This also reminds me I should start going to the gym again... My bird is in better shape than I am
