Sleepover!

I'm so excited! I've mentioned on other posts that I volunteer at a rescue shelter that doesn't charge any adoption fees for their birds. If they see that a bird is bonding with you, the will arrange for the bird to have a sleepover with you for a few days. If that goes well, you get the bird for a couple of weeks. If that goes good, they give you the parrot and a cage for free.

Well, a scarlet that was rescued by the Peoria Police Department has really gotten close to me during my weekly volunteering. Tomorrow, it is coming to my home for a sleepover. I can't wait... Probably no sleep tonight.

Congrats.....I know you're excited, but if you fall asleep tomorrow, it probably won't bode well with the powers that be...or...the bird.....you've still got to get that 2 week deal over with.....
