Hi all,

We just bought a travel trailer and are going to take Rio. I bought a sleep cage over a month ago, which she climbs all over, but has only willingly got in once. I'd rather take this smaller cage for the night, but don't want to "freak her out." What's the consensus?

Thanks!

You can put some toys, and a tasty treat, practice a few times a day. She should have no problem. Mine was sleeping in hers by day two, now she begs to go to her her sleep cage at night. She would put herself to bed if she could. :)

I camp with an RV too. Definitely get Rio accustom to the cage or you may not get any sleep yourself. The very first time we went I did not do it myself and Merlin would not settle for the night. He climbed all over the cage the first night. The noise of his climbing made our night miserable and I am sure he was scared with his new environment too.
