Sleep and Sound

So my friends, my bird is fine. Not perfect, but much better since he arrived at my place.
He had some problems with broken tail feathers, but the vet took care of it.
He still plucks but like for a few (2-3) minutes a day. Still he was a heavy plucker, so our opinion and vet his that his getting much better.

I now have other worries.
He sleeps in the kitchen, and he has 10-11 hours of sleep (really the max possible for us) and gets like 5 - 6 hrs alone in the morning, and I know he naps.
He always call us for sleep ate the right, and is always active, so no sleeping problems.

My question is: does fridge sound disturbs parrot (he never seem to be disturbed)?
The other: I arrive home usualy at 3 in the morning and use the kitchen very quietly, he hears it says "goodbye" and goes back to sleep. I use the kitchen with no lights on btw.
Do this 5 minutes interuption be bad?

Thank you all.

Seems like a reasonable sleep period. I've seen birds awoken for various reasons; they seem to assess the situation and if safe, go back to sleep.

Keeping a bird in the kitchen can be problematic due to hazardous conditions. You may be fully aware and have taken every precaution, but am just planting the seed if necessary!

in terms of noise, I wouldn’t worry too much. My parrots go to bed super early (7pm) and I am still up and about making quiet noises until about 10 or 11. I’ll occasionally hear a peep from them, but it is so rare. I’m sure your baby is fine when sleeping!

Edit to add: there is an air purifier in the room that makes a constant drone. Doesn’t seem to bother them too much.

about 15 years ago my step-dad had a kakariki which was kept in the kitchen on top of the fridge. He was fine sleeping, never had trouble with that. Unfortunately the poor guy was neglected by the family and ended up bonding with a mirror in his cage so became wild. I would've looked after him but I was too short to open the cage for him to come out and my step-dad didn't want him to be in my room

When we cook, we take him to the living room.
