Skittles has a new name......

she is now.......Pandora!
i just loved the movie Avatar and she looks like she came from that planet, war paint and all!
such magical creatures they were, i can't remember what the
flying reptiles were called?
anyways, i have been pondering names since she came here 3 weeks ago. she is colorful enough to wear the name Skittles but it just doesn't fit her somehow.
her head is such a pretty opalescent color, but Opal wasn't quite right either. she has such a loud brassy ear piercing kinda call that she does whenever we walk out of the room, kinda like the war whoops of the Navi in battle.
so she is Pandora.

The flying creatures were Mountain Banshees, I like Pandora better! She's gorgeous.

yeah she is a banshee alright! you should hear the noise that comes out of her!
its like some kind of crazy laughing/cackling witch, i wish i could get a recording of it.
she is not afraid of much and can be very bold at times, sometimes she is kinda grabby.
however when i walk in the room, she'll run to the top of her cage, turn her back to me and face the wall hiding behind a perch.
then, when i walk OUT of the room the crazy banshee noises start.
she is something else thats for sure.
quiet little Marnie doesn't know what to make of her.
she is a beauty though
