Skittles gets the last laugh...

Ok, so I make a post about the stupid guy that throws a parrot at the police officer saying that our parrots may come in handy one day...

Obviously, Skittles didn't like my joke at all and decided it was payback time.

She may not be able to fly, but she sure can climb...

I go outside to check on her while she is on her swing...

Me being the idiot photographer, I grab my camera for a photo op.

That is when she decides that I didn't learn my lesson and climbed even higher....


Now I am having flashbacks of Fargo and Tab. :52:


So I grab a ladder and start climbing up. That is when I realized that Skittles obviously doesn't have the same fear of heights that I have...

I offer her a peanut and say "Step Up" and she comes over, grabs the peanut and goes even higher... That's when I promise her no more dumb parrot jokes...

Either hunger set in or she forgave me, but an hour later, I offered her another peanut, but this time, I made sure she stepped up first. :09:

haha, Skittles does owns me. She was having a great time up there. She was fluffing her feathers and saying Hi. I was the one that was stressing out...

She has been on that swing for a few weeks and today, she decides to go for an adventure...

What is so amazing is the my wife was telling a friend about today's adventure and Skittles started laughing like crazy. It was like she knew that she was in complete control and had me racing up a ladder to save her. She had us all laughing hysterically.

YOWSER, Skittles climbed so high.

I can't do heights, I get dizzy, so I think had that happened to me, I would have called the fire department.

Are you still going to put her back on the swing??

You need to get a length of thicker PVC pipe to go on that swing rope now. It will keep her from climbing up.
