I've been trying to get Skittles on video doing his adorable burrowing, but he is so moody when it comes to being on camera. He's got this whole like-hate, hate-don't like, passive-aggressive relationship with the camera. It's really not a healthy relationship and I'm considering getting them some counseling.

You can hear him near the beginning making his "kissy noises" which are just too adorable. PS, the noises you hear are him making his 'froggy noises, as my neighbor calls it- its not flatulence. Just wanted to clear that up. lol

Mercy our birds are a lot alike. I make Booger and Cookie tents and "hidey holes" on the couch using small blankets and cushions. They both go goofy crawling under covers.. playing "peekaboo", "pull my tail", "sneak attack", and "tickle my belly". They will get me and wifey laughing so hard we cry sometimes.

I noticed the broken link too- sorry about that, thought it would work.
I think I'm gonna have to do my usual and upload to YT and then share unless someone knows the right way to post links to FB videos. Probably best to just do YT anyways. I'll upload later today. Sorry about that.

One of my conrues, (Takito) my user name in his honour, is similar with cameras, but I don't know of any "counsellors" in our area, Any way those are cute birds.
Takito is quite a talker, it really is amazing some of the things he says and people don't believe me,
how ever every time I try to record/video, he "clams" up and does not say a word,..keeps looking at me, and then the camera, and will even try to attack it.
As soon as I shut the camera off, he starts telking "garry feo, feo, feo,",.. in engles that is
"garry ugly, ugly ugly", ... some other things he says, "you say you love me, but you don't", you don't take me, ugly, bad bad, you don't love me", this occurs when I have gone some where, and did not take him with me,.. there is more, but any way this is about your birds, and they are pretty,
I just mention it because they certainly do seem to know when the camera is on , etc.
Like wise, when we have visitors, and I want to introduce him, and "show off" his talent,...you can guess what happens,...not a word, and
to make it more embarrassing, he will behave terribly.

Fixed the link. Sorry about that.

My guys will do that when the camera is near their bed. Everywhere else, they are fine with. They are extremely protective of their bed if it is anything else but MY hand. They love trying to get under blankets and get all excited if I make them a pillow fort on the couch.

I have a few of these around the house and the love them, see links below.

Their bed is the first link. They sleep in that at night on my nightstand.

Those are neat, my granddaughter has a little Chihuahua dog, and her dad bout one similar for
the dog, when I saw it, I wanted one or several for the parrots, maybe will get one or 2,...
my first 2 conrues all ways slept under my hat, cap, actually, it has a opening in the back where it can be adjusted for size, where ever I put it, that is where they would go at night,..
The love birds, micky and mini, I had a TV, one of these modern ones, that are sort like
the computer screens, any way, I had been keeping a towel draped over it , to cover it.
Everybody liked it as a perch, but I did not want droppings on the screen, any way, the way it was, the towel made sort of a tent,.... guess where the love birds decided to make their first nest .
Behind the TV screen, in a space covered by the towel, they really liked it, and I don't watch TV at all, or almost never, besides that when I do watch it I prefer in the "living room", where there is a nice couch,... so anyway, they kept there nest, and that is where the first baby hatched.
Side note, the "living room", is off limits to the parrots, my wife is boss on that.

what is that thing where he like bobs his head?

It's a behaviour I never saw Rio do so got no idea what it's about

He has three kinds of 'bobs'. The really slow one which is more of an 'alert bob', he does that to alert to danger. He also fluffs up his head feathers when he does that. He also has his rapid head bob which means "gimme gimme" (cause he does it when I'm about to give him a treat). And then theirs the bob you see in the video. I don't exactly what it means but he does it mostly when he's exploring (or he sees something and is 'testing' it or when there is music playing). Sometimes he does that bob and makes his froggy noises while I am talking (like he has to have his say).

Skittles is so cute even where he's angry!
