I'm learning to live with it but it seems like every time I try to take a nap the funds get extra noisy. They are quiet but as soon as I lay down....

Would it be ok to put them down for a nap too and cover their cage?

LOL. Sounds like you have a house full of parrots

I think a little nap would be OK in the day. Perhaps half-cover them or just turn out the lights/close the blinds in the room so they don't feel they are being punished or anything

Lol, my mom does that. She doesn't nap herself, but she puts the birds away for a nap (at least she used to, not sure if she still does) but she has a Bourke's and a Princess parakeet, and she half covers their cage so they can have a nap time for a couple hours. I noticed that my birds tend to be perch potatoes during the middle of the day. Well, then there's Raven who is a perch potato a lot of the time!

I frequently don't sleep well at night so I nap most days. Except lately because seriously I notice they are quiet so I lay down. As soon as I do they all start chirping.

Yesterday I did get a nap. I noticed they were all asleep so o laid down too.
