Although Dottie's condition is still not great, there is one good thing that has come out of the situation for me. Since she needed to be put in a cage where perches could be significantly lower, she had to go into the cage that the baby Catalina macaws were in at my friend's house. Dottie has am acrylic cage which was a great cage but is limited when it comes to perch options. Which means that they have no cage to go into over there right now so they have to stay here a while. What a shame. We were having fun, while working on some shoulder manners and bite pressure training this morning.
