You know those videos that go around of birds feeding dogs from the counter?? I have seen a number of them. Well, guess what? Gilbert has a different trick.

Last night he was running back and forth on the kitchen counter, stopped right above Pinto's bowl, pooped, happily yelled "go poop!!" and then Pinto happily ate it. GROSS. LOL.

How's that for 'stupid pet tricks'?

I should have had that on video. The announcement of "go poop" is really what frosted the cupcake for me. ha

YUCK! But of course, my dogs act like the cat litter box is an all you can eat buffet, so not much different:(
And the cats don't even announce it, either;)

I will never understand why dogs find poop-eating fascinating! I broke mine of eating each other's poop from the yard, but Pinto still finds Gilbert's droppings interesting.
I do my best to be sure he doesn't get anywhere near it but occasionally i slip up!

Just wait until Gilbert decides to 'treat' Pinto while Pinto is eating. Gilbert doesn't happen to have a maniacal laugh or know the words 'bull's eye' does he?

He laughs but his is more of a silly giggle. Actually the dogs had been eating and JUST finished. Gil was on the counter watching (he always flies over and watches them eat dinner after he eats--Gil eats with me and we eat first, then 'we' feed the dogs.) So i guess Pinto figured 'hey it landed right at my bowl--it's MINE'

Man, that would have been YouTube gold had it been caught on video. I'm going to follow my baby around with a camera once he/she is up and running. :)
