I can not give her the time she needs anymore.
Let's be honest. You will not give her time. There's a difference.

She needs to go to a good home. This is why i am selling her and her cages cheep.
Well that makes perfect sense to me. I mean selling her cheap will ensure that the home she goes to has enough money left over for vet care, right?

She does not bite very gentle likes to be held and taken places.
Bulls**t. All birds bite. And when you tear up her world she's going to bite too!

Comes with 2 cages and 3 pedistals. large cage is 4ft x 4ft x 2 1/2 feet smaller one is apros 2 ft x 2 ft x 5 ft with a removable base for transport. pluss 3 purchs.
Looks like a 2x2x3' cage, which is ideal for a small parrot. Not a U2. She's a bird. Not a statue. (Blue already has that position). It's not even suitable as an outside cage for her.

Cages alone worth 1000.
1000 what? pesos? Certainly not american currency.

She is a proven egg layer. Serious inquires only as i need to adjust my work schedule to show her.
Cockatoo eggs don't taste very good.

Someone please get her. Adopt her and dump the cages that are worth $1000. In fact, dump everything since none of her equipment looks like it's in decent condition.

This is "dump your parrot" season and this is just one of 6 U2 ads I've seen on KSL in the past week. I don't even know why I scan them every day. It's exactly how people end up with more birds. I'm not a 'Too person but if I was, there's no way I could just leave her sit there.

I should show this ad to Blue. She doesn't realize how lucky she is.

And yeah. I'm a little snarky today. Sorry (sorta). After reading about neverbroken's U2 experience and talking with this guy trying to persuade him to at least screen for a good home... well.. I'm just snarky.

BTW.. he's an idiot. He just wants cash.

Golly gosh Gina, I'd have to say I agree with you completely. It is so sad to see a 'too abandoned because the owner hasn't taken the time to think about taking in the U2 in the first place.

I do not know what the situation is like in America, but here in Aus, where cockatoos are easy to obtain and readily available, there are far too many being abandoned because the owner 'cannot care for it anymore'. It breaks my heart..

I have just become Mummy to a Major Mitchell (Olly) and I made the decision to get him after considering the fact that he'll likely outlive me, I'm going to get bitten (I like to think of it this way: Having babies will give me wrinkles, grey hair and stretch marks - all to be worn with pride. My 'too, will probably give me scars, bumps and nicks over the lifetime we spend together - I believe these should be worn with pride as well!) and effectively I've just taken on the equivalent to a toddler with a can opener for a face, who will never grow up!

I hope that this U2 ends up in a lovely forever home with parents who will provide the right care for her and give her all the attention and love she desperately needs.

I hear you loud and clear, I also am not a too person but the amount of birds being rehomed saddens me to the core.

as heartbreaking as that is, I'm kind of glad to see she wont be living there anymore. her cage looks so boring, hardly any toys, no security. she needs flight, sunshine, love, cooked birdie meals, and so many toys she wont know what to do with them. i pray she goes to a home that loves her as much as she can love them, which for a U2, is infinitely!

I have a wonderful U2. This just pisses me of! Just once I'd love to stick one of these people in a closet with nothing in there and go by once in a while and toss in a hand full of stale potato chips. Then they would know how these poor baby's feel. Too small of a cage and poor nutrition! I wish I could take her.
