His symptoms are:

fluffed up
one foot up in his feathers
he keeps grabbing his head with one foot
inactive/lethargic
not as vocal

I have him in a heated cage (towel over cage with a heating pad underneath and ceramic hater in the bathroom)

vets are closed
tomorrow is Christmas eve

Any suggestions????

You don't say where you're located, but are there any emergency/after hours vets around?

If you have an avian vet (if not look one up online) and call - most of them will have a voicemail saying what emergency vet hospital they recommend when the regular office is closed. Good luck!

They are closed, but yes, I will take him when they open in a few days. He is drinking and eating a lot so I'm not as concerned as I was. He's still less active and not as vocal but we do have a lot of new people in the house this week. Maybe it's stress from that? Anyway, he's in a warm bathroom in his normal cage.

He's feeling much better. I kept him isolated in a warm room all day yesterday and today. I sprinkled thrive sick bird formula over his fresh veggies and also gave him ronivet 12% and will continue with the full dose. He's happily playing with his Christmas toys on my shoulder now. I think the key was to get him warm. Had he still been sick this morning we would have found an avian emergency vet but he appears to be back to normal.

Good news! Watch how he acts closely to make completely sure though. Perhaps he wasn't "sick" afterall :).

I just had a thought... could he be molting? Some birds (not all) have some noticeable "off" days then. If so it might explain grabbing at his head too. Or could just have been tired, and looked like something when it wasn't.
