Should I get a second Ringneck

My Indian ringneck Peanut will be one years old at the end of September (this month), can't believe how time has flown had some troubles but we have worked them out, S/he is very tame but dose not like us to hold him around the wings or dose not like to be touched on head or back (wings) but we are trying to train it out of Peanut, so far I can touch very lightly on the head for a treat and only when s/he ready.

I would love another ringneck but every one tell me that there will be problem,

1. I have only one big cage and no more space for a second cage
2. Peanut might stop talking and don't want that because it so cute, scream pick a boo for us to come fetch him
3. and I was told because Peanut is nearly a year he might try and kill the second bird, and I don't want that to happen. They say I should have gotten two at the same time

But not upset I have Peanut, I would like to know by others if they have problem with a second bird? meaning did they fight

First of all, you would NEED a second cage to quarantine the new bird.

Secondly, you can NOT bring a new bird into your home and put it in with your existing bird until (if) they become friends...and even then, things can and do go wrong.

We had Tiki for about 5 months before bringing Pippin home and have had Pip for 5 months now. They each have a cage of their own.

From a distance they will tolerate each other, but when their cages are open Tiki will chase Pip out of his cage and, if she can, will lunge and grab tail feathers. Pippin gets away and Tiki doesn't chase (basically she bullies him and chases him off and out of things he enjoys) but I am fairly certain that if we ever left them unattended with cages open- which we don't- they would fight. If they shared a cage, one or both would end up badly injured.

If you are unable to get a second cage I advise against a second bird. It's always best for a bird to have it's own area, especially as birds mature and need a break once in awhile.
