Should I be worried or...?

Just my Quaker, Sky!
Sky has some superb timing. I log on this forum (for only the second time) and he goes and does something like this (which is pretty much my fault).

Usually I hang out with him on the computer desk, and clear it up before I put him down. But today, the one day I didn't, he went off and ate up a dust of the shavings from those scratch-off lottery tickets.

I struggled with him to make him spit it out, but I have no idea if I succeeded or not, since most of the desk had tiny shavings on it. I really hadn't seen the shavings before (I'm not the one who left them there), but it is my fault any way for skipping clearing off the desk like I usually do.

I don't know if I'm being too paranoid. I know I may be, but I have high anxiety and right now writing this down is helping me keep my mind present. So should I be on high alert or am I overreacting?

I think Sky will be fine for two reasons, 1) I doubt if he actually swallowed very much at all, more than likely he picked it up, examined it and spit at least most of it back out. 2) Although the ink isn't beneficial in any way, he probably didn't consume a large enough amount to be harmful. I would just keep an eye on him for the rest of the day, he may have some colorful poop.

I know it has taken me a while to respond, but thank you both for your responses :) I kept a close eye on him and he is just fine. I get very easily paranoid with him, so its nice to have some sort of reassurement.

I'm glad Sky didn't have any lasting issues from his unauthorized snack. :) You aren't being paranoid, you're being a good parront.
