Should I be worried about my indian ringneck?

I have a 7 months old indian ringneck. I have had him for 1 and a half month. Everytime I go near his cage he turns around with his back towards me, starts walking left to right on his perch and sometimes brings his wings out as if he is about to fly. Is this bad? Should I be worried?

best i can remember thats about the age when our ringneck started getting a little grumpy and it lasted about 2 months, after that he settled back down. he will still do it occasionally and ive learned that it means he doesnt want to play so i simply leave him alone. if i try and force him to interact when he is like that he will lunge at me even though he isnt a biter.

Did your irn get grumpy for a reason or just started doing it randomly?
