should i be suspicious??

So i was cruising the birds for sale adds on kijiji and came across a b&g macaw 14 weeks old for 600$, i wrote to the person asking them if this was the real price or just a typo, they wrote back basically anything i would want to know about the birds except they didn't answer my question and as it turns out there is 2 of them a male and female, they also sent a load of pictures. But should i be suspicious that they asked where im located? why would they need to know that? Dont worry i didn't hand out any personal info, but am i the only one who thinks its weird they are selling 2 macaws 14 weeks old for 600???

Ok wait i just looked at the add again and now they are down to 200$$ , this is not normal these ppl either really want rid of them or are trying some kind of scam!!

That sounds quite suspicious! If their price is now down to $200, I would safely assume that this is indeed a SCAM.

yes it was a scam its one of those adds where they want to ship the birds to you for a fee and then they ask all your personal info to do so, awww i knew it was to good to be true!! Anyways i hope no one else falls for the scam!!

Scammer

I would always send a list of my specific questions such as weight of bird, vet used, what diet the bird is on plus a few others to start out with. If I would not receive an answer to MY questions, but the response you got, you know right then and there is a scam, put your running shoes on and use them.

Now if I get a response that they don't have a scale for a weight or they have never taken the bird to the vet because it has never been sick, then you know you are talking to a real live owner as scammers are not going to address those questions.
