Should I be concerned?

So my bird is regurgitating pretty often lately. He isn't giving it to me or anything just into his own mouth and eating it again. My last bird used to do it on me and I know that's because he wants to make sure I have enough food but I don't know what it means when they just regurgitate for themselves.

It means he's eating... it's entirely normal.

If he does it to you or to something in or out of his cage, doesn't matter if any comes out or not, it would be best to discourage the behavior.

If it's only sometimes, then you may not need to worry about it at all.
