Should I be concerned or am I overreacting?

Captain Jack (Hahn's macaw)

Clover (green cheek conure)
Okay this probably is nothing major but recently when I bathe or hold Captian Jack I see fuzzy grey feathers come off his body. I even noticed one on his beak. It is not a lot but they seem to come off very easy (as if holding a molting or dusty bird).

I believe you are describing down feathers. My two birds are losing quite a bit of them right now. My macaw is going through a molt so I am attributing the down feathers I see to that.

Yes those are the down feathers. Your birds is more than likely going through a molt at the moment, and trust me you'll find alot of these are the house. ;) The only other thing it could be is mites, but I wouldn't worry too much about that unless you start finding other signs.

How old are Hahn's macaws usually when they begin molting? Captian Jack's hatch date was 4/13/13. He is about four months old. I will keep a look out for pin feathers.

Its usually hard to tell. They will moult a couple times a year, but usually moults happen generally before winter or summer, however this is not true in all parrots. Just keep an eye out for those pin feathers. :)

I have feathers everywhere.
I dust, feathers.
I vacuum, feathers.
I walk in to another room, feathers.
Feathers in their mouths.
Feathers in thier food and water dishes.
Feathers, feathers everywhere. :D

Down feathers falls off all the time even when they're not molting. Your bird sounds too young yet to start molting.

LOL@Wendy

Yes those down feathers are always everywhere even when my Macaws aren't molting. If one of them flaps their wings a whole bunch they start floating all over, and if the A/C kicks on it just keeps blowing them through the air lol.

Haha that happened to me recently I had to cover my coffee cup with my hand until the feathers landed.

Thanks everyone it is starting to sound like a normal macaw occurance.

LOL I freaked the first time I saw a feather in the mouth of my Senegal. To me it seemed like every time I looked at her, she had a new feather in her mouth and was playing with them. I had to ask if it was 'normal' for her to be playing with her feathers, yep it is.

We have feathers everywhere, all the time. Especially the down feathers.

The other day Rosie had one in the back of her mouth. I took it out thinking I was helping her. She got annoyed and grabbed it back. Guess what looked icky to me was fun for her. ;)
