I can't believe it, but Kito is home!

She landed in someone's back yard a few blocks from our house.

Perroquetsecours contacted me through Kijiji, saying they were a Canadian bird aid site. I was wary, but gave them my information. They sent out our ad to all their contacts.

One of these contacts was a horticulture major a few blocks away. He has his own parrots and even an extra bird cage. She came down to him and let him handle her without a fuss.

He contacted us at 7 this morning and here we are! I am so grateful to this man for returning her, he even refused the reward money.

If anyone in Canada has lost their bird, contact this site, they saved my bird! :)

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you. Glad you've got your sennie home!

Needless to say, she is getting micro chipped ASAP!

Congrats, what a wonderful end to the story. So often, it doesn't end like this. By the way, micro chipping is great, but I have always looked at it as closing the barn door AFTER the horse gets out.

As everyone is saying - very very very fortunate! Congrats!!!!!! I'm so glad she didn't fly too far off! What a great neighbor. Lots of love and snuggles must be in order now :)

I am so excited she is home!! I love happy endings! I am sure you are sooooo relieved!

how great! i am so happy for both you and your bird! how about clipping wings? o_O lol

Yeah! I always wonder what our Grey did when she flew away. It was such a relief to get her home. Glad you got your baby back.
