She is at it again..

been hanging out with Justine more but since sometimes I am laying on the bed, she will walk all over me but even one twitch of my toes or I move my feet, she bolts down and starts to attack / bite my toes.. It has been a while since she has done this.. Odd.. I still pick her up and grab her beak and say "no biting".. It lasts a whole minute then she is back at it again..

Thoughts? Tricks or learning methods to prevent her from making it a habit for life?

If she is not keen on towels drape one across your feet. May stop her going near the dreaded towel? If you can break the habit for a while she may just leave your tootsies alone? Have you a toy distraction with you? Something to really pique her interest, forager etc? You are inviting her with the foot wiggling though.

Plum used to charge feet, racking my brains to remember how we dealt with it. He doesn't bother now really, oh except to wind up hubby but that is different cause its funny!

Tried that when I first go her. Basically she will try to bite though anything. When I am picking up socks from the floor she will try to attack as well. The only way I found to get her to stop anything and just stare Is just to put my guitar on the floor or next to me.. she runs away from it. But I want her to eventually like it so I can play music for her in the future.

Do you sing along too? Most parrots love if you sing, in-tune, out of-tune, they do not seem to mind.

Maybe find another deterrent if you want her to like your guitar? Keep correcting her re the feet thing and maybe just put her back on her cage each time?
