Well as you know I love a talking bird and my Shaggy is trying say some words now. I call him Papa a lot and he's been trying to say that - I think his name maybe a little difficult. He talks in a low male voice and sometimes I see him moving his beak like he's practicing something inaudible. I know from my past birds that they like to practice before they actually come out and say something for the first time so that's a great sign. He's getting much more comfortable with the family now. This morning he greet me with the eye pinning and his low grumbling over by his food bowl as if to say "Good morning now feed me!" I've been taking him outside every day and I don't think he's been out very much before I got him because he's very watchful of the sky the whole time he's out. But we do it in small doses and he seems to be getting more comfortable with the whole idea. I just took him out and put him on the patio chair and he started to whistle and try to say "papa". I know he's going to be an excellent companion!
