Seriously Fargo.. My heart stopped -_-

I was out riding... like i do every single day left at about 11:45am.. Got back inside at 2pm..



Walked into my room......

Fargo's cage was open..

I had a heart attack, he has never been out whilst i wasn't with him.. My door to the verandah is fly screen which Fargo destroyed, so unless the glass door is closed, Fargo could easily climb out..


Well i had left the glass door open..

The first thing i thought was Fargo has climbed out the door..

My heart stopped...

This all went through my head in the first second..

About 2 seconds after i walked into my room.. I hear this very tiny, faint hello...


I look behind me, there is Fargo, just sitting perched on his gym.....




Next thing was.. Ok.. lets see how much he has destroyed.. If you didn't know, Fargo has destroyed 2 keyboards, my ipod and my phone.. Not to mention sooo many pairs of earphones..

So.. I walked over to my desk....


I even had cords just all over the desk because i was doing work..



NOT ONE THING WAS TOUCHED!!!!


Fargo didn't destroy a single thing..




From what i can tell he hasn't even played with toys..

He just flew to his perch, and sat there, probably wondering where i was




Gah!!! Almost gave me a heart attack... I am soooo surprised he didn't destroy my keyboard at least.. Or try and climb through the door screen


Looks like someone will be getting locks on his cage doors now!!!



I must be lucky today!!




Off topic.. I got accepted into university to study to be a paramedic Got my acceptance letter this morning!! Woo!

4th of february... Terrible for that one day.... Next day he is perfect.. Thank god today wasn't his bad day, i would of had no room left hahaha

but then when he was actually out of his cage, and he was like hang on a second.... mum isn't here.. i shouldnt be out here.. ohhhh noooo.. mummmmm

PS. If you need to know who Alice Cooper is, then check him out on Google. You would do well to listen to his album, 'Welcome to My Nightmare': it is quite excellent and almost as uplifting as a recital of Bach cantatas.

PPS. Yeah! Get a padlock! I would never in a million years have believed Barney could open the cage gate, but he did. Clearly, he and Fargo are Gifted and Talented and capable of exceptional thinking. They must be watched...

'Poison' was always my song, when i was younger i used to run around singing it when dad used to play it!

I think we actually have a video of me when i was about 11 singing it hahaha

It is amazing how they can figure out how to get out of their cages!! It is also interesting why they suddenly decide one day to escape?

I ride Kyros each day, and Fargo is left alone... But today he decided it was time to escape... He has escaped twice before, once through the feeder door and another through the top, but both them times i was in my room!!


I think we should enter Barney and Fargo in some magic show, they can be the next Houdinis

ROTFL! Great idea! I think Fargo and Barney would look quite stunning side by side: think of all the colours!

My Hubby went to see Alice in concert a few years ago. His kids had given him front row seats at the Ent.Cent. in Sydney. Well, when Alice sang 'Poison', he sang it TO KIM!!! Every time he sang 'You're poison', he would point at Kim, who blushed like a maiden (said my step-kids) and grinned all over his face. How I wish I'd been there to see that! My fave Alice song is 'Cold Ethyl'.

Really!! I love how they just sit and wait.. The door on Fargo's cage is super easy to open once they know how, hence it has to be tied now :54:
