Senegal parrot biting

I have a 2 year old who I was told is a male senegal parrot. I got him from a pet store and before I got him I would visit him in the pet store for a few days and he would be hanging out on top of the register or being peaceful on the employees shoulder and when I finally took him. Home he was fine and nice for the next 7 months then he stated getting out of control. I can take him out of the cage no problem but he always Nips after a few minutes of being out and he lashes at me for no reason. But if I put him on the bed with me at night he will cuddle up with me and become the sweetest bird ever. I need some advice please

Probably horrible hormones. Are you sure he is male? His eyes are light, but some don't turn yellow, they stay gray. Just hang in there. Do some training with him. This guy also has a Senegal: How to Tame & Train Parrot - Step by Step Taming Guide
