Hi guys,
I was wondering how big of a nest box will be needed for a pair of senegals? They are a proven pair, they belong to my friend, he wants to buy a nest box for them, The largest we have found in the pet shops are around 14" x 8" x 8", I know that minimum should be 18" x 9" x 10", but we cannot find any, what do you guys say? will they breed okay in a 14" x 8" x 8" nest box? if not, then where would be a good place to buy one in the UK?
Thanks :)

You would be better off building one. The petstore nestboxes use wood that is thin. My senegals were heavy chewers.
I use the tall box. About 20 inches high and 8-10 inches square. A hole at the top and a flap on the outside at the bottom for you to peak. Hope this helps.
