Security Toy

Just curious if anyone's Fid has a Security Toy / blanky . BB has a bell that he LOVES. He has several but one is hanging from the top of his cage He will pull it across the perch and lean on it when sleeping.

HA! I'm not sure if it's Niko's security toy, but he LOVES hiding under his SS bell. Head right underneath it, as if he's wearing a hat. I wonder if he thinks it makes him invisible.

I call it his security bell . James said he just likes to lean on it . Lazy lol .

Plum's is a tatty half chewed block of wood on a chain which is no longer chewed but he hides behind it and pushes it with his beak or foot and then sways with it. He sits next to it to sleep, gives it an almighty push if put out with me! Can't go away without it - definitely his security blanket lol

I can't believe I forgot about Ripley! :54: He definitely has one. His mega Kong toy. :32: It's meant for dogs, but I strung it up with sisal, and boy that thing takes abuse AND lovin' - all day long.

Poppy has her fleece swing. Harry has a soft cotton toy that looks like a mop.

Sweepea is the only one I've got that does that stuff. She has a rope toy that she sleeps all tangled up in. Puts them under her wing...

At one point she had a larger rope toy, and she used to climb inside the center of it with nothing but her beak sticking out to sleep...

The oddest one was the TAG down at the rescue that used to sleep with his head upside down in his food bowl... He was a quirky (but funny) little bird.
Didn't like stepping up, but if you offered him a finger he'd shake your finger...

(As in, Hi! I don't know you that well. Not gonna do it.) He was taught to do that because UNTIL he learned to shake the finger he BIT people for sticking that finger in his face... (A tad attitudinous!)
