Screaming

I prob own the sweetest bird ever but he has a very bad problem with screaming for me when I leave the room I tryed ignoring him but he's very persistent. Any ideas what to do to make him stop this. I cover him when he does this and it does quiet him but as zoo. As Iuncover him and walk away he's rite back at it It's prolly he only flaw besides the fact he hates my husband lol

Just ignore him when he does it. My hahns did the same but constant ignoring (acting deaf to his screams) and then rewarding/paying attention to him when he makes nice sounds (talking etc) has slowed it.
He now only screams when I first get home and he is excited and a few times when I first leave (before he relizes/remembers that it won't make me come back).
